These are some notes I made for moving NT4 workstations from and old SBS 4.5 domain to a new SBS 2000 AD. These instructions maintain the user mailboxes and desktops

Export Outlook mailbox to Desktop as .PST
Logon locally as Administrator
Join the SBS 2000 domain
Add the DNS suffix and set Use DNS for WINS resoloution
REBOOT
Login as Administrator on the domain
Add domain user to local Administrators group (To allow software to install)
Login as User
Postpone the SBS 2000 apps install
Login as Administrator
Copy the profile from the old user to the new user
Login as user and allow SBS 2000 apps to install
