Tomorrow is the day of the Buckingham Fun Run. I don’t remember saying yes but some time earlier this year I said I would sit on the organising comittee (Note to self: Beer causes amnesia).
It has been a long time getting to this stage and then suddenly it is upon us. All the trophies turned up yesterday, my next door neighbour made the start banner at the last moment. Buckingham Colour were still running of the certificates at 17:00 and I picked up the T shirts.
I’m very proud to be involved in organising this event and it really makes me feel part of the local community.
Wish us luck for Sunday!
